Henry transforms with love, stability and support of Foster Care Parents

Henry is an energetic 3 year old who just wanted attention and love. Henry and his younger half-sibling were removed from their mother for severe neglect as she’d locked them in a room with no contact with people. In their first two months, they had already been through three placements due to Henry’s extraordinarily high level of impulsivity, hyperactivity, and aggression. Prior placements were overwhelmed and could not provide the level of support needed.

 

New foster parents were found that were able to offer the high level of support Henry needed. They remained focused on providing Henry a structured, supportive, stable, nurturing, loving environment throughout his therapy journey. His growth has been significant, he is now able to accept and give love, and his behavior is improved. His foster parents continue to work on his impulsivity, and have initiated the adoption process to ensure Henry always has the stability, support, and love he needs.
