Outpatient Therapist:  Wendover Rd Campus - Charlotte, NC

Thompson is looking for a contract Therapist to provide mental health services in an outpatient setting in Charlotte, NC. Contract Therapists are expected to provide comprehensive clinical assessments, case management as needed, and individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based theories. Qualified candidates will also need strong documentation & time management skills. Ideal contractor will be empaneled with several different commercial insurance carriers and MCO’s. Certification or training in an evidence-based treatment model such as TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc is a plus. Candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, possibly to include some evenings. Hours may vary based on caseload. Qualified candidates must have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or Counseling and full licensure as an Independent Practitioner in the State of North Carolina is required. Applicants with provisional licensure will not be considered. One year post graduate experience in a clinical setting with children, adolescents, and adult population is required. Admissions Coordinator:  St. Peter’s Lane Campus - Matthews, NC

The Admissions Coordinator position requires a very organized and motivated individual. This position is responsible for processing referrals and facilitating admissions for multiple programs including Foster Care, PRTF, Outpatient Therapy, medication management and Intensive In-Home services. In addition, this position will be responsible for verifying private insurance and Medicaid and obtaining authorizations and re-authorizations for a 24-bed residential treatment facility. The Admissions Coordinator also maintains a tracking system for all referrals, inquiries, and results; enters client data and pay source information into ECHO (electronic medical records system); schedules clinical assessments through Appointments Plus, as well as determining fees and benefits for insurance plans; ensures completeness and accuracy of application and referral for all program managers. Duties also include review of authorization documentation for accuracy, coordinating pre-admission documents to referral source or guardians, sending information regarding fees for room and board and W-2 tax returns. This person is also responsible for delivering required Judicial Review documentation to the Clerk of Court within 24 hours of an admission, delivering ongoing Judicial Review documentation to Clerk of Court bi-weekly or as needed and delivering discharge Judicial Review documentation to court within 24 hours of discharge. This person will provide excellent customer service for clients and referring agencies. Knowledge of HIPAA rules, Medicaid standards, NC Managed Care Organizations, and regulatory compliance required. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Excellent time-management and customer service skills. Bachelor’s Degree required in addition to at least one (1) year of experience in human service related field. Must have a valid NC Driver’s License with clean driving record, and meet credentialing and privileging standards. Chief Performance & Quality Officer:  St. Peter’s Lane Campus- Matthews, NC

The Chief Performance & Quality Officer provides executive oversight to Thompson’s Contracts & Quality Improvement Team, leads business development opportunities, and works closely with program leaders to ensure programs are being implemented with rigor and fidelity while meeting outcomes and expectations.  Provides executive direction for the design and implementation of all Business Intelligence and Analytic approaches used within Thompson.  Incumbent will also provide executive direction for all Thompson research and development work aimed at improving program operations and / or developing new approaches to advance services.

Education – Master’s Degree, from an accredited College or University, preferred;

Experience – Ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Child Welfare and / or Juvenile Justice Systems of Care. Demonstrated experience in finance, contracting, human resources; prior experience as a Senior Government Leader is preferred.

Part-Time Registered Nurse (PRN - as needed):  St. Peter’s Lane Campus - Matthews, NC

Thompson is looking for a part time Registered Nurses (RN) to work in our psychiatric residential treatment facility. Duties will include medication administration, record keeping, responding to client medical needs. The RN is responsible for working directly with the physician, psychiatrist, and nurse practitioner to provide professional nursing care. Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have current licensure to practice as an RN, or temporary license as a RN Practitioner in the state of NC. RN with pediatric and/or mental health experience preferred. Qualified RN candidates that can work flexible 12 hour shifts (6A-6P and 6P-6A) and some weekends. Thompson is seeking an experienced Exceptional Children’s Teacher.  The EC Teacher should be motivated, flexible, and have the ability to work in diverse teams.  The EC Teacher will be responsible for developing, completing and maintaining Individual Education Plans.  Will be required to uphold standards set by the Department of Public Instruction.  The EC Teacher will be working with youth between the ages of 6-13 years that also have mental health diagnosis as well as display emotional and behavioral difficulties.  Applicant must demonstrate a minimum of two years’ experience and must have Bachelor in Education and Special Education Certification. Therapists are expected to provide diagnostic assessments, case management, and individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based theories. Qualified candidates must be willing to collaborate with referring agencies, coordinate services from intake through termination, and travel to provide services at different locations within the Fort Mill area, including some services provided to clients in local public schools. Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling. Valid license to practice independently in South Carolina as a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). If fully licensed, must be able and willing to become empaneled with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and prefer paneling with other commercial insurances preferably including Cigna, Magellan, UBH, etc. Must have a valid SC Driver’s License with clean driving record, and meet credentialing and privileging standards.
