Mentor: Saint Peter's Lane Campus, Matthews, NC

The mentor works with children ages 6-12 in a residential treatment program. Experience in a group home or residential setting with children preferred. This position is responsible for providing direct care for children in the residential treatment program by providing a safe therapeutic home setting in a positive consistent and structured environment. This includes mental health support and documentation based on service goals and plans for each consumer. Human Services Degree desired. Valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record required. Clinical Manager: Saint Peter's Lane Campus, Matthews, NC

The Clinical Manager works as a part of our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) lower campus Treatment Services program, and ensures that the program philosophy is carried out in the daily operations of the residential trauma and attachment program. This includes: development and provision of staff training; development; programming; environments and vision for the attachment program. Candidate will provide individual, family and group therapy in a residential setting working with clients with attachment issues/disturbances and trauma symptomology. The Case Management Specialist is responsible for assisting the consumers in gaining access to necessary care: medical, behavioral, social, and other services appropriate to their needs. Foster Care Manager: Family Services Center - Wendover Road, Charlotte, NC

The Foster Care Manager will provide effective leadership and management of the Foster Care program in accordance with state licensing requirements and Thompson Child & Family Focus policies. This position provides direct supervision to staff in this division, serves as the primary contact for community referral agencies, and has budgetary responsibility. Foster Care manager duties will include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing the Foster Care program in accordance with state licensing requirements and Thompson policies; ensures programs meet and exceed Mental Health, DSS, COA and Joint Commission standards; supervise and monitor staff performance and progress. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, and must be proficient in understanding and working with diverse individuals, families and teams. A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field and four years’ experience in working with children and/or families is required. At least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience and knowledge of foster care systems is preferred. Candidate must meet state requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Qualified candidates must be able to follow recipes; maintain order and cleanliness in food service areas; ensure that all USDA, DPI, CACFP, Health and Sanitation standards are met; partner with campus leaders to meet client’s nutritional needs; work closely with health and safety inspectors to exceed all health and safety standards; as well as plan, prepare and deliver food for any scheduled on campus meetings, trainings and parties. This position may require regular lifting up to 50 lbs, along with standing, reaching, and stooping. Must be able to work Monday – Friday 5:30 AM -2:30 PM with flexible hours as needed.
